As a landscape photographer from London, immersing myself in the Canadian wilderness is always a fulfilling experience. During my recent stay at Prestige, I found the balance between luxury and cost to be quite interesting.The spacious room with a comfortable bed and clean surroundings met my expectations for a relaxing stay. The optional $10 voucher for 'Green' usage at the sister hotel's restaurant was a thoughtful touch. However, the noise from passing trains disrupted the tranquility at night.While the views of the lake were picturesque and the location convenient for dining and shopping, the proximity to the railway line was a downside. The friendly lobby staff, access to amenities at the sister property, and cleanliness of the rooms were noteworthy.In terms of value, the room's amenities and location were balanced by the disturbance from nearby trains. If seeking tranquility in a natural setting, Prestige offers a good option, although the noise factor should be considered when evaluating the overall experience.
